In this week’s message, Pastor Bob reflects on the true meaning of sacrifice—not just giving money or serving, but fully surrendering ourselves to God first. Drawing from Jesus’ example in the Garden of Gethsemane, he shows how sacrificial living means seeking the Father’s will above our own, walking with others in unity, and living with humility rather than boasting. The message ties in lessons from 9/11, the “Greatest Generation,” and everyday first responders as reminders of what it means to give for the sake of others. Ultimately, the greatest model of sacrifice is Jesus at the cross, and as a church, we are called to follow Him with transformed hearts, ready to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and live for the gospel.
