Loneliness | Mental Health E5
Nov 21, 2023

Our culture today wants us to be alone. It can seem unnatural and uncomfortable to socialize or to seek out genuine friendships. Often, we find ourselves by ourselves, face-to-face with a phone, a computer or a TV screen. We forget that we were designed for relationships and community.

As we enter the holiday season, we recognize the reality that many struggle with loneliness this time of year. Pastor Bob and Pastor Phil sit down to talk about different types of loneliness (situational, emotional and chronic), and how all of them can negatively impact our mental health and our well-being. We want to encourage you with ways that you can begin to work your way out of loneliness.

ABOUT THIS SERIES:
Depending on who you talk to, mental health and the Bible can sometimes appear as enemies. We know that God intends for us to take care of our bodies, and that includes our brain health. In this series, we will discuss the topic of mental health as it relates to the truth that we find in scripture. We will seek to understand some of the mental health issues that impact us and how we might use the resources available to take steps toward healing.
